The electoral register/voters roll is a public document
available for inspection which lists everyone who is entitled
to vote in the district.
We hold two versions - the full published version and the edited
This lists everyone who is entitled to vote. Only certain people
and organisations can have copies of this, and they can only use it
for specified purposes.
Inspection is under supervision and information taken from this
version cannot be used for commercial purposes. Photocopying or
electronic recording is not permitted by law.
This is more readily available and can be used for any purpose
and any person or organisation can buy a copy and use it for
commercial activities such as marketing.
If you do NOT want to appear in this version make sure you
indicate on your voter registration form or annual canvass form
your desire to opt-out of appearing. You can also permanently
opt-out so we do not ask you again each year.
We update the register monthly (click on monthly revisions
timetable below). By law we also have to carry out an annual
canvass. We'll hand deliver a form to your home each
year during the summer/early Autumn so you can let us
know whether your circumstances have changed or not.
However this year (2013), the canvass will commence
later - from 1st October 2013 as the publication date for
the revised register will be 17 February 2014 - this will be the
register in force for the European

- sending a text message; or
- by registering on-line
Outside of this period you have to register by completing our
rolling voter registration form - see below.
