The electoral register/voters roll is a public document
available for inspection which lists everyone who is entitled
to vote in the district.

The electoral register lists the names and addresses of everyone
who is registered to vote in a public election. The register is
used for electoral purposes and can be used for other limited
purposes specified by law including detecting crime, jury service
and credit applications.
The open register is an extract of the electoral register
however it is not used for elections. It can be bought be any
person, company or organisation. Your name and address will be
included in the open register unless you ask us to remove it.
Removing your details from the open register does not affect your
right to vote.
If you do NOT want to appear in this version make sure you
indicate on your voter registration form or annual canvass form
your desire to opt-out of appearing. You can also permanently
opt-out so we do not ask you again each year.
We update the register monthly (click on monthly revisions
timetable below). By law we also have to carry out an annual
canvass. We'll hand deliver a form to your home each
year during the summer/early Autumn so you can let us
know whether your circumstances have changed or not.
However this year (2013), the canvass will commence
later - from 1st October 2013 as the publication date for
the revised register will be 17 February 2014 - this will be the
