NEW Toning Suite and Spinning studio Coming Soon!

Both facilities will be moved to new locations within the leisure centre and it is expected that the refurbishments will be finished the beginning of September. During this period, we will keep disruption to a minimum, however the spinning classes will be temporarily moved into the Ounsdale High Schools dining hall.

The spinning studio will be moved to a new sound proofed location in the leisure centre. The works will inlcude complete redecoration, new lighting and stereo system, and the installation of 40 new Star Trac Indoor spin cycles - look out for the master classes that will be available after the opening!

The toning suite is set in a new location and has undergo complete renewal, including the installation of the latest Shapemaster Easy Tone, toning chairs and 3 toning beds.

Wombourne Leisure Centre is the largest of the 4 South Staffordshire Council Leisure Centres.

It is connected to Ounsdale, Specialist Arts School, located in the centre of Wombourne and is well sign posted.

The centre boasts the following facilities:-

A 25m x 12.5m (6 lane) swimming pool
State of the art 'Energise' gym (using Pulse equipment)
Sports hall
Toning table suite
Dedicated spin cycle studio
Dance/aerobic studio
Little Sunshines Creche
Outside tennis courts (during the summer season.)

A wide range of activities take place at the centre for the whole community including a huge range of aerobics classes as part of the Energise Fitness Programme, Get Set Swim School teaching children and adults of all abilities, SUSSED children's activity programmes which take place every school holiday for children aged 5-12, Pandamonium children's parties - let us do the hard work for you - whilst you sit back and enjoy your child's special day and a wide range of sports courses including badminton coaching, trampolining and dance.
