New walks kick off in Bilbrook

Great Wylrey WalkWalkers looking for a bit more of a challenge are being encouraged to put their best foot forward as a brand new series of walks kick-off in the South Staffordshire village of Bilbrook later this month.

South Staffordshire Council has teamed up with Natural England to create a series of short walks in the village for people relatively new to walking – but who want to step up their fitness regime.

The FREE fortnightly walks are open to all and are a great opportunity for people to get outdoors and enjoy a healthy stroll around the village. The walks are also a great way to meet new people and boost your fitness and improve your health.

The first new Bilbrook walk will start on Thursday 19th January at 10am and will last for around two hours, starting and finishing at the village hall in Joeys Lane.

Anyone who wishes to find out more information about organised walks can visit www.sstaffs.gov.uk/walking or call 01902 696682.
