Members of Parliament
The district is represented by three parliamentary
constituencies:
- South Staffordshire
- Stafford (part)
- Cannock Chase (part). NOTE - as from the next
Parliamentary election in 2010, the part that comes under this
Constituency (i.e. Polling Districts BNA and BPA - Huntington) will
come under the South Staffordshire Constituency.
Members of the European Parliament
The district is represented at the European Parliament by
the six MEPs (Members of the European Parliament) for the
West Midlands Region. This was reduced from seven
previously prior to the elections in June 2009. There are two
Conservative Party Members; one UKIP MEP and an
Independent; one Labour Party, and one
