Executive
Dave Heywood is the council’s Deputy Chief
Executive. Appointed in 2009, Dave supports the Chief Executive and
takes direct responsibility for monitoring the council’s
performance, helping to deliver the council’s ‘locality
agenda’ and communications.
Dave is leading on our efficiency and
transformation programme and works closely with elected members
around their community leadership role. Dave also oversees the
management of the Council's audit
team.
Dave also continues to take a lead role in
partnership working particularly around health improvement and the
South Staffordshire's Rural Transport Partnership – a new body
which is looking at improving accessibility to and from rural
areas.
