Wombourne Community Facilities

Wombourne is a beautiful well kept community village, full of wonderful citizens.

Every year we take part in as many community events as possible to bring the village together and have a great time, such as the Wombourne Carnival and Best Kept Village competition.

Special Projects

We work towards special projects from putting up Christmas lights to responsibilities with the burial grounds.

Civic Centre Management

A main project of ours is management of the civic centre. This involves bookings for shows, bands, weddings, birth and death memorials, and corporate events.

Finance

We also take care of all the finance within Wombourne such as other projects within the village.

Planning

The Parish Council is consulted by South Staffordshire Council about planning applications within Wombourne.

Recreation and Amenities

We have the responsibility of looking after parks such as Bratch and Poolhouse and also improving the changing rooms on Brickbridge playing fields to make it an enjoyable environment for the young children in Wombourne.
