The Council’s Architectural and Landscape team work closely with Development Control to help ensure the highest possible quality of landscape design is achieved across the district. 

 

The Landscape Planning Manager and Arboricultural Officers will comment on any planning application that is deemed to have a significant landscape impact and offer any technical advice necessary. 

 

They can also be approached through Development Control for pre-application discussions about hard and soft landscape works and any potential impact on the landscape that may be relevant to the proposed development.
