Baggeridge Country Park is a beautiful area of countryside on the doorstep of the Black Country. Being Baggeridge Country Parl set back from the roads, its secluded delights are revealed to you as you explore further. The creation of today's scenery however, is very diverse.
 
Formally the Baggeridge Colliery and part of the original Himley Estate of the Earls of Dudley, the site has been transformed into 150 acres of attractive country park.
 
Baggeridge Country Park provides an ideal setting for those looking for wildlife and those wishing to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.
 
The park has numerous facilities for outdoor pursuits as well as a wide range of events throughout the year from bat walks to music festivals.
 
The quality of the park and the range of events has been reflected in Baggeridge winning a national green flag award for the 11th year in a row.

Opening Times

Baggeridge Country Park is open from 9am everyday, closing times vary with the seasons however the park currently closes at 5pm and will do until March. The opening hours will be extended in March when the clocks go forward.

How to Access this Service

Baggeridge is on the A463 between Wombourne and Sedgley, signposted from the A449. It is just four miles south of Wolverhampton centre and four miles west of Dudley centre.

Costs
Car Parking is by Pay and Display and costs £1.20 per visit.
