There are many activities available at Baggeridge Country Park. Leisure Activities include:
 

Mountain Bike Trail

A new and exciting edition to the park! The new trail is ideal for families with older children and beginners, and forms a two-mile figure of 8 circuit within Baggeridge Country Park.

 

Baggeridge Heights:  Aerial Rope Adventure

Baggeridge Heights is a superb woodland aerial ropes adventure course...some 40ft above the forest floor, run by Closer to the Edge.

High Rope Swings

 

Children's Play Park

This is a fabulous attraction at Baggeridge Country Park, offering hours of fun for children aged 0 - 12 years old.
 
The area boasts a toddler's sandpit, death-slide and swings as well as a climbing frame structure with rope bridges, tunnels and slides. An absolute must for all children!
 

Horse Riding

There is a trekking trail around the park for licensed riders. To obtain a license for Horse Riding or for further information, please contact the Country Park Rangers.
 
Horse Shows take place in the park throughout the summer months click here for dates of this years shows.  
 

Fishing

Day tickets are available for the Island and Spring Pools. Tickets are available from the Visitor Centre at a cost of £4 per adult and £2.50 per child/ concessionary rate.  Car Parking for fishing is at Himley Hall.
 

Orienteering

A permanent course is set up on the park. To book this activity or for further information, please contact the Country Park Manager on 01902 882605.
 

Baggeridge Country Park Trails.

There are four trails around the Park, of varying levels of distance and difficulty.
  1. Easy Access – approximately 30 minutes.
  2. Toposcope Trail – approximately 45 minutes.
  3. Baggeridge Circular Walk – approximately 1 hour.
  4. Baggeridge Wood Walk – approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

Guided Walks

The Ranger Service conducts various guided walks around Baggeridge Country Park throughout the year. For more information please contact the Country Park Manager.
 

Miniature Railway

Baggeridge Country Park has its own miniature railway track, which volunteers from the Wolverhampton and district Model Engineering Society use throughout the year.
 

Sensory Garden

The sensory garden provides an additional stimulating experience to those not able to explore the park's attractions or see its beautiful landscape.
 
The aim of the garden is to provide accessible and stimulating sensations by concentrating on movement, sound, feel and smell, emphasising colour, texture, fragrance and light.
 
This exciting development was made possible due to a joint venture between South Staffordshire Council and South Staffordshire Housing Association.
 

Camping

Organised groups are able to book visits to the park. For more information please contact the Country Park Manager. 
Field Studies
Schools and group activities are held throughout the year. Please contact the Country Park Manager.
 

Tea Shop

A tea shop is open at park throughout the year, offering breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Opening times vary, telephone 01902 673465 for further information.
