That is why we have taken a lead on dividing the district up into five localities so we can work better for you. Have a look at the map on the right to see which locality you're in.

The council has two Community Development officers who are here to help support groups and projects in each locality.

Locality 1,2 and 3 - Rachel Taylor

Locality 4 and 5 - Mark Jenkinson

The Community Development Officers are here to help local community groups along with local parish council's to give you the tools and information you need. In response to the variety of common questions and problems raised by community groups the Community Development Officers has developed a Toolkit of information sheets to provide community groups with the guidance they need for a variety of tasks they may undertake. To view the toolkit on line please click on the link at the bottom of the page.

Rachel and Mark are also here to support sports and arts projects across the district as well as offering top tips on funding and grant support for local groups.
