Members of the public are encouraged to contact the Council's Food Safety Team if they are concerned over the condition of any food they may have purchased, or, unhygienic practices or conditions observed in any food premises operating in South Staffordshire.

 

Such complaints will be thoroughly investigated and may result in action being taken against the food business responsible. Food complaints, in particular, involve detailed examination of food safety practices and procedures to determine whether all reasonable precautions are taken to avoid those complaints. These frequently involve investigation of food manufacturers operating outside this local authority.
