The Localities Team

South Staffordshire Council is always looking to work closely with local groups and other key organisations in the district which deliver services to its residents.

The Localities team are a small team of officers that provide support and guidance to local community groups. Thanks to this support many exciting projects have developed in South Staffordshire within the last 18 months, including a new skate park in Bilbrook, a boxing club in Codsall, and a Multi use games area in Wombourne.

As well as assisting local groups the Localities officers also deliver activities within the district through their Health and Wellbeing Team. The Health and Wellbeing team deliver a range of activities including health walks and fitness classes which are all run in community settings.
