Due to the free swimming finishing on 31st August 2010 the following prices will apply from

1st September :

Under 5s - FREE

Juniors (5-16s) - £1.80

Adults - normal price will apply

50 plus - £1.85

The free swimming might be finishing which means over 60s and under 16's cant use us for free anymore, but dont let it put you off coming...you can pay as you go, or if you use us regularly why not have a look at our membership packages - there's only a 3 month committment and it might work out cheaper - have a look by clicking here.

Pool Closure

There will be NO FUN TIME 4th September 2010 14.30 - 15.30 due to a booking.

There will be NO adult or public swimming on Sunday 5th September 2010 due to a triathlon.

Wombourne Leisure Centre host an impressive 25m x 12.5m swimming pool, incorporating 6 lanes and ranges from a depth of 1m - 2m deep.

A spectators seating area, ideal for galas and parties is also available.

The centre offers a wide range of pool activities, including: Parent and Toddler Sessions, Family Swims, Lifesaving Courses, Adults Only, Swimming Lessons, Aqua Aerobics, Over 50's, Canoeing, Childrens Swimming Parties and lots more, including popular fun sessions which feature pool inflatables!

A disabled changing facility is available complete with shower, toilet, sink and easy access on to pool side. A hoist is also available on request.

The centre also offers a Swimming Membership for only £21.55 per month for unlimited use of the swimming pool during public and adult sessions. For further information please click on the link on the left.

Activity Descriptions

Activity	Description
Public Swim	Recreational swimming for all the family.
Adults Only	A swim for adults over 16 years old.
Lane swim	A fast and medium lane will be provided for the more serious swimmer.
Parent and Toddler	Have fun with the water babies for new parents, soon to be moms and dads or even grandparents. Just turn up and play.
Disability swim	A special needs session, with careres swimming for free. Hoist available for easy access.
Fun session	Large floats for children and young adults.
Swimming lessons	For more information on swimming lessons see wet courses.
Little Flippers	A 6 week course for 2 - 5 year olds, starting them on their swimming journey (Term time only). Two classes now available, see timetable below For more information see wet courses

General Swimming Information

ALL CHILDREN UNDER 8 YEARS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT 16 YEARS AND ABOVE.
Children under 5's must be accompanied on a ratio of 1 adult to 1 child.
Children between the age's of 5 - 8 must be accompanied in the water by an adult at all times on a ratio of 1 adult to 2 children.
During school holidays the daytime programme is subject to changes. However evening times will remain as normal with exception to Tuesday evening public swim.
50+ rate applies from 8.00am - 16.00pm weekdays.
Tuesday evening and Sunday morning public swim are subject to availability. Timetable may change due to club bookings
