Ashwood Nurseries
Tours of Ashwood Nurseries can be
arranged for gardening clubs and other interested groups. For all
group visits, please book early to avoid disappointment

House
Boscobel House is a much visited place following its
connection with King Charles II and his escape from Cromwell's
forces. Having sought refuge at Boscobel House before fleeing to
Moselely Old Hall, anyone who enjoys English history must
consider a visit.
Visitors can also see the dairy, farmyard, smithy, gardens, and
a descendant of The Royal Oak. House tours by guide only.

Hall

Project
On show full size replicas of the WW
II Aircraft “Defiant” and the research aircraft “PC Bi-Plane”. The
part restoration, part rebuild of the post war RAF training
aircraft “Balliol”. Numerous artefacts and photographs charting the
unique history of Boulton Paul Aircraft Ltd from 1916 to the
present day.

Manor
One of only a few surviving examples of a house built and
furnished under the influence of the Arts & Crafts movement.
The interiors contain many original William Morris wallpapers and
fabrics, Pre-Raphaelite paintings and de Morgan ware. An attractive
garden reflects the style and character of the house.

Vineyards
If you have a group of 15 or more then you can have a guided
tour of the Vineyards. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by your
tour guide and taken for a short walk around the vineyard.
Cultivation, trellising and grape varieties are described, followed
by a tour of the winery. Vinification from grape to bottle is
explained, followed by wine-tasting and a slide show in the
barn.

Trekking Centre
The centre offers horse trekking for all abilities across
some of Cannock Chase's idyllic countryside. No previous riding
experience is necessary as the Trekking Centre has an
extensive range of horses and ponies suitable for all ages and
abilities. Experienced guides accompany all Treks.
