Walking Festival 2010
 
South Staffordshire is known for its rural beauty and offer Walk along canalmiles of walks through breath taking countryside.
 
The ranger service of South Staffordshire Council manages both the South Staffordshire Railway Walk and Baggeridge Country Park. Both offer short trails for all the family.
 
South Staffordshire also offers a series of CirculaWalking along the canalr Walks around Himley and Baggeridge, Awbridge and Trysull and Wombourne Village, Orton and Swindon in the southern part of the district. They are accessible and vary from 2 to 5 1/2 miles. 
 
In addition South Staffordshire Council is in the process of developing further circular walks, particularly in the north of the district, as well as the annual walking festival which takes place each summer.
 
How to Access this Service
If you would like copies of the walking routes for any of the above mentioned walks please contact Health and Well Being Team on the below telephone number or alternatively copies are available to download by clicking on the appropriate link above.

Costs

There are no associated costs with any of the above mentioned walks other than the led walks at Baggeridge Country Park. Please visit their events page for further information on scheduled walks and costs.
