South Staffordshire is known for its

The ranger service of South
Staffordshire Council manages both the South Staffordshire Railway
Walk and Baggeridge Country Park. Both offer short trails for all
the family.
South Staffordshire also offers a
series of Circula

r Walks around Himley and Baggeridge, Awbridge and Trysull
and Wombourne Village, Orton and Swindon in the southern part of
the district. They are accessible and vary from 2 to 5 1/2
miles.
In addition South Staffordshire
Council is in the process of developing further circular walks,
particularly in the north of the district, as well as the
annual walking festival which takes place each
summer.
