How do I make a new claim?
It
is possible to obtain an estimation of your
entitlement to benefits using our on-line Benefits Calculator before submitting a
claim.
The easiest way to make an
application is:
To complete the on-line application

Alternatively, you can:
Request an application form by calling
the Benefits Department on (01902) 696668,
Complete an application form available
from our main council offices at Codsall or your local housing
office,
Write to the address below and
an application form will be issued to you to complete and
return to;

If you have any difficulties with filling in the form either
call into our offices where a member of our Solutions
staff will assist you or you can telephone our offices for
assistance.
It is important that you complete
and return your application form as soon as possible, as any delay
may result in you losing benefit entitlement. Housing/ Council Tax
Benefit is generally paid from the Monday following receipt of
the form either at the Council Offices or the Department
for Work & Pensions.
Any supporting documentation
should accompany the application form where possible. However this
can be provided within one month from the date your claim is
received. You must provide original documents as we
cannot accept photocopies. Please click on
