We are responsible for organising and conducting
elections, referenda and by-elections in South Staffordshire
ranging from parish council elections European Parliamentary
elections.
We follow statutory timetables, arrange the staffing and
running of polling stations, the delivery of poll cards and a
results service.
Our own district council elections take place every 4 years on
an all-out election cycle. This means that all 25 Wards for 49
council seats are up for grabs at the same time.
District council elections coincide with the parish council
elections. The next scheduled district and parish elections
are on 5th May 2011.
