Role of Electoral Register in Credit Granting
Credit Reference Agencies
The three main credit reference agencies in the country all buy
our electoral registers.
These companies are Equifax, Experian and CallCredit.
They are allowed by law to buy the full published version of the
register for credit checking purposes.
All three of these credit reference agencies get monthly
updates from us.
If you notice any inaccuracies on your credit report from any of
these agencies, then you need to contact the credit
agencies straightaway.
If you have any complaints about your name appearing on other
websites you are advised to contact the Information Commissioner -
