The Council offers the opportunity for young people
to be involved as countryside volunteers by becoming members of
friends groups.
There is a friends group at the
Wom Brook Walk, Wombourne. Its is hoped to start similar groups
associated with the Wyrley Branch Canal, Great Wyrley and Riverside
Walk, Kinver.
The Forest of Mercia will have a
number of projects in the forest area which are likely to be
suitable for young people.
There is also opportunities to
volunteer with the Ranger Service at Baggeridge Country Park.
For more information on
volunteering for friends groups please contact the Grounds
Maintenance and Bereavement Services Manager.
