Household Waste Recycling Centres
Bulky household waste including large electrical items can be
recycled at the Household Waste Recycling Centres located at
Poplars Landfill (Cannock), Pendeford Mill Lane (Bilbrook) and
Botterham Lane (Wombourne). These sites are operated by
Staffordshire County Council. Please follow the link below for

sites.
Bulky Waste Collection
Throughout the year, the Council provides special
collections of bulky household items such as fridges and
furniture. Items are normally collected within 7 calendar days
of the request.
A twice-yearly free collection of bulky items of domestic waste
is also provided. Householders should ensure that all items
are placed at the edge of their property at the appropriate time on
the day of the service. We will let you know, by leaflet, of
the service arrangements 7 days prior to the day of collection. The
following items cannot be collected as part of this service:
- Fridges
- Cookers
- Washing machines
- TV's and monitors
- Fluorescent tubes
- Asbestos
- Rubble and concrete
- Fluorescent tubes
- Garden waste
- Liquid waste (oil, paint, petrol, diesel)
- Lawnmowers
- Items that may cause damage to compaction equipment

standard charge of £15.00 for 3 items, with
any additional items charged at £2.00 per
item thereafter. We collect a maximum of 7 items.
