This gives brief information and relevant contact details for
public use.
The Council uses a message handling centre
based in the West Midlands to deal with out-of-hours emergencies
and enquiries including homelessness and to give advice on other
general enquiries. The call centre can also provide limited
information on who to contact regarding certain other types of
emergency.
Please note that the Council does not normally
provide an out-of-hours response to deal with the following
complaints:
- Noise nuisance
- Missed bin collections
- Pest nuisance or infestations
- Planning matters

to the appropriate service unit during office hours via the
council's main switchboard.
