Recycling Barometer
The barometer below indicates the current level of performance
achieved by South Staffordshire Council through the recycling and
composting programmes, as a percentage of total household waste
collected.
It details performance achieved between 2003/04 and
2008/09.

The graph below shows that the level of waste not
reused, recycled or composted has reduced by over 41%
between 2003/04 and 2008/09. At the same time, the
amount of waste reused, recycled and composted, as a
percentage of total waste collected, increased from 10.30% to
47.61% over the same period.
