There is a huge variety of wildlife and vegetation within South
Staffordshire.
South Staffordshire Council Ranger Services have implemented a
management plan to create and preserve a variety of habitats, along
the South Staffordshire Railway Walk as well as at Baggeridge
Country Park.
This will preserve this very pleasant feature of the
South Staffordshire landscape.
There is a leaflet available detailing further information on
the Countryside and Wildlife of Baggeridge. To view a copy please
click on the link below.
The ranger service keep a close eye on the many
different species of wildlife that live and visit the
park.
A record of interesting bird sightings is kept by the
rangers. The list is available to view at the park on the rangers
office notice board, or click on one of the links below to view
information on past bird sightings.
