A wide range of exercise sessions
are offered in the Energise exercise classes,to strengthen, burn
fat or just improve general fitness.
There is something for everyone
and our qualified instructors will be happy to assist you in
choosing the right class. All of our Energise classes are suitable
for adults aged 16+ with the exception of Aqua, Rebounding and
Spinning which is suitable for those aged 14+.

Punch your way to a perfect physique the fun way. Relieve

A total body workout! You'll get out of it...what you
put into it! A High energy, high intensity and great way to get in
shape and improve fitness. |
| 50+ Fitness |
A low impact and low intensity workout which incorporates
exercise for both the upper and lower body. This sessions is
specifically for customers aged 50 years and over. |
| Tai Chi |
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese form
of co-ordinated body movements focusing on the cultivation of
internal energy. Its aim is to harmonise the mind, body and spirit,
promoting both mental and physical well-being through softness and
relaxation. |
| Zumba |
Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements. Zumba's choreography
incorporates hip-hop, samba,
salsa, merengue,
mambo, martial arts, and
some Bollywood and
belly dance moves.
Squats and
lunges are also
included. |
| Yoga |
Hatha Yoga concentrates on posture, strengthening
and stretching of muscles. It will help increase flexibility,
muscle strength and endurance. It not only stretches the body but
stretches the mind. |
| TRX |
Using TRX suspension training harnesses this fun dynamic
workout builds strength, flexibility and endurance whilst burning
calories and strengthening your core. |

Important Notice
The Thursday TRX classes will be changing as of 11th
April. There will only be 2 classes running but each class will be
40 minutes. The new TRX classes will be 17.45-18.25 and
18.30-19.10. Please be aware that due to the sessions being
extended in length the price will increase for each session to
£4.00.

Booking Policy & Procedures
All classes require payment on booking. We require 24 hours
notice for cancellations. If less than 24 hours

notice is given the money paid will be lost. If more
than 24 hours notice is given we will transfer the booking to a
different day. Cash refunds cannot be given.
Also please note that members are entitled to make bookings
for activities and sessions up to 14 days in advance and
non-members can make bookings up to 7 days in advance.
All customers must ensure they have registered their
attendance at reception.
This is for the following
reasons
- In the event of a fire we have accurate registers telling us
the amount of customers and where
- To ensure that the number of people who attend equal the amount
of working equipment
- To ensure everybody in attendance has paid
Spot checks will be carried
out on a random basis. If the class is full and you are not on the
register YOU will be asked to leave. Therefore to avoid
embarrassment, please register at the earliest opportunity.
Health Commitment Statement
Before participating in any exercise you will be required to
read and sign the leisure centres health commitment statement
to confirm you are fit to exercise.
