Small Lotteries

 

In order for societies wishing to promote small lotteries within South Staffordshire the Society must register with the Council.
 
From 1st September 2007 The Gambling Act 2005 replaced the provision of the Lotteries and Amusement Act 1976. Registrations valid on this date were converted automatically under the new 2005 Act.
How to Access This Service

You will need to complete an application form.  This will then need to be completed and returned to the Council Offices at the address specified.

Costs
Renewal Fee
Registered societies must pay an annual fee of £20 to South Staffordshire District Council to keep their registration current. Fees may be paid between 1st November and 31st December 2007.
 
New Registration Fee
If you wish to apply for a first registration, you must make an Application for Small Society Lottery Registration under the Gambling Act 2005 (form below).  The fee for new registration is £40.
