Enville and Kinver |
We have an initiative covering Kinver and Enville parish councils. The initiative started with the Parish churches and following an informal meeting with interested parties has grown into a scheme supported by both Parish Councils. The scheme has over 40 volunteers and aims to coordinate the ready source of willing volunteers and match them with residents in need of assistance.
If your needs aren't covered by the above, then please call 07783 631137. You may need to leave a message, but rest assured someone will get back to you, even if you just need a chat. Help is out there. Please, if you need it, ask. Nobody should be alone or suffer during these bizarre times, there are people who will listen and help where they can.
UPDATE: November 2020 Kinver and Enville KOBRA NEWS Given the current lockdown and the increased number of cases in the village, we thought we should give an update. The situation now is very different, and there are many services geared up to help people who can't leave their house. Not least, delivery services are more prepared than ever before, so nobody should go without food & essentials. However, everyone's situation is different and there is support available from a number of places. The Co-Op is now delivering twice a week. Call their national number on 0800435902 to arrange your shopping. The Kinver village chemist can help get your prescriptions to you, call them on 01384 872117. And of course, if you have a medical question or need advice, call NHS Direct on 111. If your needs aren't covered by the above, then please call KOBRA on 07783 631137. You may need to leave a message, but rest assured someone will get back to you, even if you just need a chat. Help is out there. Please, if you need it, ask. Nobody should be alone or suffer during these bizarre times, there are people who will listen and help where they can." |
