To give businesses a much-needed boost in the wake of the pandemic, a new video has been launched to promote South Staffordshire's stunning high streets.

Watch the video here:

The video, commissioned by South Staffordshire District Council, aims to encourage those living in the area to discover the many hidden gems on their doorstep, and those who are based further afield to come and explore South Staffordshire.

The council's latest project shows the various village shopping destinations across the district – from the quaint, historic sites of Brewood, to the bustling streets of Penkridge.

Wombourne's glistening waterways and one-off stores feature too; as well as Kinver's  beautiful boutiques; the well-connected village of Codsall; as well as Cheslyn Hay and Great Wyrley.

Speaking about the video, chief executive of South Staffordshire District Council said: “I am delighted to be supporting the district's wide range of independent traders and array of stunning sights with this great new video which shows South Staffordshire in all its glory.

“The past two years have been very hard on everyone across the country – and we are determined to help boost South Staffordshire's high street.

“Support your local economy, discover the hidden gems on your doorstep – and shop South Staffs."

The council has also teamed up with shopping site virtualhighstreet.uk, to promote local traders across South Staffordshire – with clips from the site also featured in the council's latest video.
