South Staffordshire council news

The Council is seeking applicants to be appointed as the Council's Independent Person and Associate Independent Person, who can step in for the Independent Person when he/she is unavailable.

If you are interested in this role please send a letter outlining why you are interested along with your CV or document setting out your qualifications, experience, expertise and skills.  Please indicate if you wish to be considered for the role of Independent Person, Associate Independent Person or both. The following criteria apply to this appointment:

  • You cannot be or have been during the last five years a Member or Officer of the District Council.

Please send your application to Lorraine Fowkes, Director Legal and Governance (Monitoring Officer) at South Staffordshire Council, Wolverhampton Road, Codsall, South Staffordshire,  WV8 1PX.  Please mark as ‚ÄúPrivate and Confidential".
