Physical Books of Condolence

There will be physical Books of Condolence at three sites across South Staffordshire:

  • Codsall Community Hub - opening from 9am to 5pm each day until the day after the funeral, except Bank Holiday Monday (September 19th) when the opening time will be 2pm to 4pm.
  • The Hailing Dene Centre in Penkridge - open from 10am to 4pm each day until the day after the funeral, except Bank Holiday Monday (September 19th), when the opening time will be 2pm to 4pm.
  • The Civic Centre in Wombourne - open from 10am to 4pm each day until the day after the funeral, except Bank Holiday Monday (September 19th), when the opening time will be 2pm to 4pm.

Parish councils across the district may open their own Books of Condolence, however, the Books at the sites listed above will be the ones from South Staffordshire that will form part of the National Archive.
