Additional Sites Options
Additional Sites Consultation
This consultation is now closed.
Documents for the Site Allocations Document (SAD) - Additional Sites Consultation are set out below for information only.
With the publicity surrounding the previous 'Issues and Options' consultation, a number of additional suitable sites were put forward; and we made a commitment to consider these suggestions to ensure all potential options are considered in each village and that the most suitable site is allocated.
A new consultation document was prepared to seek views over and above the initial 'Issues and Options' consultation in March 2014. Some are entirely new sites, and others are extensions to sites that were considered previously. There are 26 new options across the district, including one employment site. The 'Additional Sites' consultation is an extension to the previous 'Issues and Options' consultation.
It is important to understand that whilst this consultation followed the same planning process, it differed from the previous wider ranging consultation because this only looked at these specific new site options. The sites, methodology and issues in the previous ‘Issues and Options' consultation have already been subject to full public consultation and the consultation which ended in May 2014.
The consultation document contains the new sites and site extensions, with all other sites ‘greyed out' for information only to provide the whole picture and to assist in making comments.
