Site Allocations Evidence and Supporting Documents
We have to prepare a number of evidence base documents to support all our policy documents and there is a comprehensive list of these studies and reports available here. Some documents have been prepared or updated specifically to support this stage of the SAD process and these are:
- Methodology paper
- Discounted Sites Paper
- Sustainability Appraisal
- Site Allocations DPD SA Scoping Report
- Habitats Regulations Appraisal
- Infrastructure Delivery Plan
- Addendum - Appraisal of Employment Sites March 2014
Many of the sites we are looking at are in the Green Belt. Our strategy is to protect as much of the Green Belt as possible, but we know that in some of our villages there is no other option. A Review of the Green Belt at the villages where growth is planned was carried out by consultants recently and will help us to decide which sites are most suitable to take forward to the next stage.
The Strategic Planning Team manages and maintains a register of persons who have an interest in local planning documents (Local Plan Database); those who wish to register land for future development on our Self and Custom Build Register and/or Strategic Housing and Employment Land Availability Assessment (SHELAA); and regarding Empty Properties. In order to do this in an effective way we will need to collect and use personal information about you. For more information about how we process this data see Strategic Planning Team - Data Protection.
