Site Allocations

The first part of our Local Plan decided where the future growth would take place in the District – this is the Core Strategy and was adopted in December 2012. The second part, Site Allocations or SAD, looks at the most suitable sites – whether for example housing, employment, open space and recreation – to meet the aims of the Core Strategy.

The South Staffordshire Site Allocations document (SAD) was adopted on 11 September 2018.

The Inspector's Report was issued in May 2018 which said that the SAD was sound with the Modifications proposed and consulted on.
