There is no fee for a tree works application.

Tree Works Application Form Guidance Note
Before submitting your application, you may wish to seek advice from a trained tree surgeon with regards to the type of work that is needed to be carried out to the tree.
Timescales
Once an application is received and validated, the applicant or agent will be notified. The council will assess the application and give you our decision.
- Works to a TPO(s) or works to a TPO(s) within a CA - 8 weeks after receiving your application.
- Works to a tree(s) in a Conservation Area – 6 weeks after receiving your application.
If you get consent for tree works, we recommend that you use a trained tree surgeon to carry out the work.
