Dementia Awareness

Did you know there are over 944,000 people in the UK living with dementia?

That’s 1 in 11 people over the age of 65. By 2030, this number is expected to rise to over 1 million.

If you’re worried about yourself or a loved one, learn more about dementia and gain a better understanding of what it is.

Having some knowledge of what it’s like to live with dementia can help you to support someone with the condition and help them to live well.

For more information visit the Alzheimer's Society website: Understanding and supporting a person with dementia | Alzheimer's Society or you can call the Dementia Support Line on 0333 150 3456 or the South Staffordshire Dementia Advisor Service on 01543 573936.
