Please park considerately around Landywood Primary School.
Parking is causing concerns to:
- Landywood Primary School for the safety of the children;
- Residents who live on roads near to the school as they are having problems with access to their drives or experiencing abuse from drivers parking their vehicles across their driveways;
- The community who live on the roads near to the school as they watch the grass verges become quagmires.
Please consider the following before you park on the roadside:
- Please do not park on the grass verges.
- Please ensure that your vehicle allows enough pavement space for access by a wheelchair or pushchair.
- Please ensure that your vehicle is not parked within 10 metres of a junction
- Please ensure your vehicle allows space on the road for an emergency vehicle to pass by.
- Please ensure your vehicle is not parked on double yellow lines or blocking residents’ drives.
- Parking for school drop off is available in Fair Oaks Drive near along grass verge opposite Lilac Lane.
