Waste and Recycling Update

Updated: 15/01/21 16:30

  • All scheduled grey and blue bin collections due week commencing Monday 11th January 2021 have now been completed.
  • All bin collections will re-commence as scheduled from Monday 18th January 2021, including garden waste collections.
  • If you were due a recycling collection on Tuesday 5th January 2021 and this was not completed, please present your recycling bin on Tuesday 19th January 2021 for collection. Excess recyclable material can be collected in clear/carrier bags (no black sacks please).
  • If your green bin was scheduled to be emptied during week commencing Monday 11th January 2021, it will be emptied week commencing Monday 25th January 2021. Any residents affected by this will receive an additional green bin collection at the end of the current subscription period in June/July 2021. This will be done automatically: you do not need to take any action.
  • Thank you for your patience during the unprecedented disruption over the last few weeks whilst we dealt with the impact of bad weather and substantial covid-related staff absences. Crews have worked hard to clear the backlog and minimise service disruption where possible.
