Would you like to be a Councillor?
We recently held two sessions for anyone who is interested in local government, and wants to discover what it's like to be a Councillor.
The event featured two ' be a Councillor ' sessions at the Council Offices in Codsall.
At the sessions, attendees found out what the Council does, what the role of a Councillor is and the important skills that Councillors need to have. There was also a chance to build relationships, begin networking, meet stakeholders and start influencing.
The sessions featured serving District Councillors and a team from the Local Government Association, who work to support Councillor Development across the country.
