Monday 16 November 2020 South Staffordshire hotel closed for 3 months under closure order The Himley Country Hotel, School Road, Himley has been issued with a Closure Order, within the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, to remain closed until 12 February 2021, except for 3 security staff. This is due to continuing reports of anti-social behaviour taking place in Himley and the surrounding area. Councillor Roger Lees, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Planning and Regulatory Services at South Staffordshire Council, said “South Staffordshire Council will use the powers available, when they have the evidence, to reassure residents that anti-social behaviour of this kind will not be tolerated". Detective Chief Inspector Dave Wain from Staffordshire Police said, “If residents have any further issues please engage with Staffordshire Police so appropriate action can be taken".
