Stray Dogs

What you should do if you see a stray dog.

Any dog that is out on its own is classed as a stray dog.

Our dog wardens respond to reports of stray and lost dogs on a regular basis. If you wish to report a stray dog or missing animal please use our Online Form or alternativity please contact our Customer Service Centre on 01902 696000

If you have picked up a stray dog, call the dog warden on the number above, who will collect it from you, or fill in our online form *insert online form* It is not advisable to pursue a dog which is unwilling to be handled. The dog warden will only come and collect a dog which has been secured they will not go looking around for a dog in a particular area. The dog will be taken to the kennels to await collection, or re-homing.

A stray-dog collection fee and kennelling costs are payable by the owner upon collection of their dog. Unclaimed dogs will be gifted to the kennels after 7 days and hopefully re-homed.
