Coronavirus Business Grants

Business Grants are now available for businesses who have been severely impacted by the National and Local Restrictions. Please read more for further information.

  • Business that are forced to close (5th January to 15th February 2021) - Grants are available for businesses who are registered for business rates and are legally forced to close for the National Lockdown that commenced on 5th January 2021. This grant includes the Closed Business Lockdown Payment and the Tier 4 payment for the period between 31st December and 4th January. (Available to Business Ratepayers only)

  • Business that are forced to close (5th November to 30th December 2020)- Grants are available for businesses who are registered for business rates and are legally forced to close for either the National Restrictions (November 2020) or Tier 3- Very High Local Restrictions. (Available to Business Ratepayers only)

  • Christmas Support Payment (for wet-led pubs) - A £1,000 flat-rate grant to wet-led pubs. A wet-led pub is defined as a pub that derives less than 50% of its income from sales of food. (Available to Business Ratepayers only)

  • Additional Restrictions Grant (05/01/21-15/02/21) - The discretionary Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) is for businesses that haven't had to close but have been severely impacted due to the national lockdown which came into effect on the 5 January 2021, or those which have had to close but are not the ratepayer themselves.
