2024 Residents' Survey
The 2024 South Staffordshire Residents' Survey is live. Have your say and let us know what matters to you.
Codsall village is delighted to announce its spectacular 2024 Christmas Fair event for Friday, 6th December from 4pm to 8pm.
This year we have even more fun, food and entertainment for the whole family with three live bands, two street entertainers and loads of hot food, drinks and Christmas goodies.
For the younger revellers, we have the fairground, bouncy castles, two roundabouts and, of course, Santa’s Grotto.
The fantastic Lemon Twists will be making their return to Codsall playing some great music. We also have the highly entertaining Wolverhampton Ukulele Band and, following their debut in Codsall last year we are again proud to present the Steel and Strings Caribbean band.
Super street entertainer and juggler Steve Kaos will be performing his “feats in the streets” and we will be presenting the spectacular Fire Eater, Alisha Twine.
There is a huge choice of hot food from Pizzas, Steak & Chips, Indian food, German Sausages and Crepes supported by a Bar and Mulled Wine stalls. Tea & Coffee will be available at several locations throughout the Event Area.
We have over 60 street stalls who will be offering a huge range of Christmas gifts so nobody leaves Codsall in need of anything.
At 7pm, there will be our traditional “Carols around the Tree” with our local school choirs accompanied by the Salvation Army Band and an opportunity to join in with the popular carols. Should you need a reminder, the words of the carols are included in the free Event Programme which will be available on the night.
The event starts at 4pm and finishes at 8pm but our local pubs and shops will continue the festivities with food and live entertainment long into the evening
There is plenty of parking available including the four village centre car parks and additional parking at the station and at the District Council offices, just 5 minutes’ walk from the event.
