We've got a great range of Health and Wellbeing schemes which will not only help you to get fitter and improve your health, but they're easy to access too. We are holding activities in local community venues and across South Staffordshire, some of which may well be right on your doorstep.
Gentle Exercise Classes
We hold weekly, gentle exercise classes for people over the age of 50 who want to start getting more active. The classes are a great way of meeting new people, getting a bit fitter and helping to improve your health. Classes cater for all fitness levels and are one hour. Charges apply.

South Staffordshire Cycling Scheme
The South Staffordshire Cycling Scheme is a fun and safe way to stay active and healthy. We have developed routes and rides for all ages and cycling abilities across South Staffordshire. Rides are free to join! All you need is a road worthy bike, helmet and some pennies for the important cafe stop. On your very first ride, please join the group 10 minutes before the start so you can complete a registration form.
The rides are perfect if you are new to cycling or a bit out of practice. Meet points and locations can be found below for July - September 2019.

Walking for Health
We offer a free walking scheme and have developed a range of walks suitable for everyone. We have long walks, short walks, and some more demanding than others; but something for all abilities. Each walk is led by friendly, experienced and trained walk leaders. There are different levels of walks dependent on ability. Some walks are short and on flat ground, whilst others are longer and include slopes and steps.

Forward to Health Scheme
Forward to Health is a 12 week scheme offering people with medical conditions help through taking regular exercise. The programme consists of one to one consultations and regular support with a fitness expert based at our leisure centres, who will give you a health check and devise a personal fitness programme to help you get on track and back into fitness.
