
Two members of South Staffordshire Council's planning team were honoured for the contribution they have made to planning across the region at the Royal Town Planning Institute Planning for Excellence awards.
Senior ecologist Matt Wall was lead officer in a project to assess Air Quality Impacts on European Sites which was a joint project with eight other local councils and Natural England.
Also in the running was Imogen Hopkin who was a finalist in the Young Planner of the Year category and was highly commended for her contribution to planning.
The Air Quality Impacts project will now go on to the national awards and winners will be announced in November 2025.
