Licensed premises are being offered the chance to win a video showcasing their venue worth more than £1,000 when they sign up to a national safeguarding scheme.
The competition, ran by South Staffordshire Council, is open to any licensed premises in South Staffordshire.
To be in with a chance of winning, venues simply need to sign up to the Ask for Angela scheme via this link:
Ask for Angela survey for licensed premises | South Staffordshire District Council
Ask for Angela is a national scheme which helps licensed venues discreetly assist customers who find themselves in threatening, unsafe or uncomfortable situations. Find out more about Ask for Angela here: Home - Ask For Angela
To register an interest in becoming an Ask for Angela ambassador business, venue owners or managers should complete the survey. Completion of the survey will automatically enter respondents into the video competition. The winner will be selected at random.
Venues who sign up to the scheme will be provided with the tools to undertake the necessary training and equipped with a range of materials to support their participation.
The video will promote the winning premises and its participation in the Ask for Angela scheme, under the direction of the venue management and South Staffordshire Council. The video will also promote South Staffordshire Council and the South Staffordshire Community Safety Partnership.
The closing date for the competition is Thursday, July 31st at 5pm.
Those who sign up to the Ask for Angela scheme will also be listed on the South Staffordshire Council website.
Anyone who has previously completed the survey and registered an interest, has already been entered into the prize draw.
