Image South Staffordshire Council win the 2024 Government Property Awards for Codsall Community Hub Huge congratulations to the South Staffordshire Council team for their shortlisting of Codsall Community Hub, going on to win the ‘Smaller Better Greener’ award, as announced at the Government Property Awards held in central London this month. Image Codsall Community Hub welcomed the Sustainability Dreamhouse South Staffordshire Council was proud to host the Sustainability Dreamhouse at the Codsall Community Hub, home to Council and partner offices, on Tuesday, 15th and Wednesday, 16th October. This insightful and engaging visual demonstration is designed to educate the public on reducing carbon emissions and living sustainably. The Dreamhouse will now continue its roadshow across the county, spreading its message of sustainability and environmental responsibility. Cllr Perry MBE, who represents Great Wyrley, takes over leadership from Cllr Roger Lees who has decided to step down and retire as Leader whilst continuing his role as a Ward Member for Himley and Swindon. Image Work to begin to upgrade Perton’s Upper Lake Boardwalk from Monday 9th September Work to upgrade the boardwalk around Perton’s Upper Lake will commence from Monday 9th September. Whilst the work is completed, the adjacent areas will be closed to the public.
