Council Performance

In this section you can find out how our services are performing. We're working to improve the services for the people living, working, learning in and visiting South Staffordshire. Performance management helps us to track the progress we're making in our key outcomes and priorities, and to demonstrate that we're delivering services efficiently and effectively.

Digital by Choice

Power BI is a Microsoft tool that helps create interactive and visual dashboards, making it easier to understand data and provide intelligence to evolve our service delivery.

Currently there are 30 self-service forms available on our website that enables customers to pay, request, apply and report services quickly and at time that’s convenient to them. For example, you can make a planning enquiry, report a planning breach or fly-tipping. For anyone unable to self-serve, we can also be contacted through email, by telephone or visiting the council offices in person.

This interactive ‘Digital by Choice’ dashboard aims to provide a comprehensive picture of how customers our choosing to contact the council for various services - self-service, by telephone, email or face to face.

The ‘Digital by Choice’ dashboard has been created using data from our in-house customer relations management system.
