Information on how to view the Electoral Register
The register of electors is published on December 1st each year. The register is updated throughout the year. You can view the Register of Electors in person by appointment only at South Staffs Council, Wolverhampton Road, Codsall, South Staffordshire, WV8 1PX
To make an appointment, please email elections@sstaffs.gov.uk
You can make handwritten notes from the register. However, you cannot take electronic copies, for example, photocopies and photographs, of the register.
The electoral register is ordered by polling district, street and house number and not by name so if you do not have an exact address, you can search the open register using online commercial organisations.
If you are searching for a friend or relative, you may find it easier to search historic electoral registers available from the British Library.
