South Staffordshire Core Strategy
All planning authorities have a planning framework for the future development of their District and our Core Strategy sets out the long-term vision for our communities, and contains objectives and policies to guide future development. It sets out how much development will take place locally, the villages where it will take place and contains polices which will be used to make decisions on planning applications. The Core Strategy was adopted in 2012 and the specific sites to deliver it will be in our Site Allocations document which was adopted in September 2018.
The Strategic Planning Team manages and maintains a register of persons who have an interest in local planning documents (Local Plan Database); those who wish to register land for future development on our Self and Custom Build Register and/or Strategic Housing and Employment Land Availability Assessment (SHELAA); and regarding Empty Properties. In order to do this in an effective way we will need to collect and use personal information about you. For more information about how we process this data see Strategic Planning Team - Data Protection.
