Local Plan Consultations
Engagement with our communities and stakeholders has always been a very important part of the planning process in South Staffordshire.
Open Space Survey
We are currently undertaking a survey which will help us to understand how people view our public open spaces. From Baggeridge Country Park and allotments to public footpaths and children's play areas we would like your views on the quality and level of provision. Please complete our online survey to give us your views - it will only take around 5 minutes to complete. The responses will be used to inform a new Open Space Audit and Strategy as part of our new Local Plan.
As part of the work on the South Staffordshire Local Plan Review, we are carrying out a village centres study. This will help us to understand shopping patterns in the village centres and will inform the plan making process. We are seeking views on shopping now and in the future in local centres. To help us do this, a telephone household shopping survey is being carried out by NEMS Market Research on behalf of South Staffordshire in cooperation with the Black Country Local Authorities. You may get a call from NEMS to ask for your views and the information we collect will be summarised in the study.
Please be assured that any information you give us will be confidential and subject to data protection laws. People will not be asked for their names or financial details. No personal details will be disclosed or passed on. Only summaries of the surveys will be used to work out overall shopping and leisure patterns, trends and needs. You can also access the Retail Study Survey direct to give us your views.
If you have any queries about the Study, please call a member of the Local Plans Team on 01902 696000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
