If the signs are to be sited on highway furniture, consent may also be required from the Highways Authority (Staffordshire County Council).

Why?

  • Adverts posted on the side of roads can create a danger to highway users
  • Lots of signs in one area can be confusing

An advertisement can be presented in many different formats. These can vary from posters, placards, signs, flags, price boards, estate agent boards and many other formats.

Some adverts may not require Advertisement Consent, due to the nature of the advert.
